The King’s Daughters

So in one of my classes we have been reading King Lear. So I decided to draw the three daughters! Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia.

Don’t Goneril and Regan look like just the nicest of two-faced bitches?

At one point in the play, Lear chastises the older two for wearing “revealing clothing.” Since this was written around Elizabethan times, I took this to mean the smash-up-your-boobs cleavage bodices they wore for a while.
